Date last night = Amazing.

Neal is a great guy. :) I can’t wait to see him again next week. 

The Christmas lights were gorgeous, and the sushi we had was amaaaazing. He also bought me coffee from Starbucks and took me downtown to stand next to the tallest building with him because I’ve always wanted to.

Meeting him has definitely given me a new respect for firefighters. He’s already been on two calls today, and will probably go on several more throughout the weekend. Holidays for firefighters = putting out fires caused by distracted people cooking, people not understanding how to use a fireplace correctly, space heater accidents, kids playing with fireworks, and of course your everyday traffic accidents and whatnot that he responds to. So, followers, thank your firefighters/police officers/etc this Christmas. While you may get the day off, many of them do not. Thankfully, most truly enjoy helping people like he does. :)
